Guess the soccer player from his clubs
Clubography · The game
One career a day. The earlier you call it, the more you score.
Clubography is a daily soccer quiz with a single question: who is this guy? You get one real player's career, club by club, in the order he actually signed. The first few clubs are free. Every one after that costs points to reveal, and every wrong guess costs more. Name him off the first club and you're a genius. Need the whole career? You'll get there, but your score won't thank you.

“Awesome daily game”
“We do a Daily challenge league on the site, good fun”
A real card from a past puzzle, and you can play it. Reveal a club, buy a clue, or just name him. The answer's on his own page.
How it plays
Reveal a club, or guess. Five guesses, last name is enough, and spelling doesn't count against you. Stuck? Position, trophies and nationality are there as hints, and they cost points too. Everyone in the world gets the same player, and a new one drops every day.
The daily soccer quiz you can actually share
When you're done you get a row of colored blocks that shows how you did without saying who it was. Drop it in the group chat, nobody's day is spoiled, and the people you add show up in a Friends League that keeps score all week.
A soccer Wordle, except the puzzle is a career
If you came here looking for a soccer Wordle, here's the straight answer. Same shape: one puzzle a day, same for everyone, a result you can send. The puzzle isn't a word, it's a career. You're not spelling your way to a striker, you're reading where he's been.
Not just Europe
The careers run through the Premier League, Serie A, the Bundesliga and plenty of places you'd never guess. MLS turns up more than you'd think. Olivier Giroud had a year at LAFC, Wilfried Zaha is at Charlotte, Timo Werner turned up at San Jose. All three have been answers already.
When does the new one drop?
Midnight in London, which is usually 7pm Eastern, 4pm Pacific. The clock changes don't line up for a couple of weeks a year, so it can be an hour off.
Questions
Is it free?
Yes. Free on iOS and Android, no ads, nothing to sign up for to start.
Can I play in a browser?
Not the daily game, that's in the iOS and Android apps. You can try a free practice round in any browser on a Journey page.
Is it soccer or football?
Both. We're British, so the app says football. Same sport, same game.
Are the stats real?
Yes. Real clubs, real seasons, real league appearances and goals from public data. Men's senior soccer only.
How is this different from a soccer trivia quiz?
No list of questions. One player, one career, and a score that depends on how early you got him.
Is this connected to Wordle?
No. Wordle is a trademark of The New York Times Company and Clubography isn't affiliated with it. Same once-a-day habit, different puzzle, different people.
Can I play old ones?
Not yet. Every past answer is on the Answers page though, full career and all.
