Clubography is a free daily football guessing game for iOS, Android and web. One footballer's career is revealed club by club; name him early to score more. A new Journey every day, the same for everyone, with a spoiler-free result you can share.
What is Clubography?
A football career path quiz you play once a day. Each Journey is one footballer. His career is on the card but the clubs are hidden. Peel them back one at a time and work out who he is from where he's been. Know him already? Guess before you peel a single one.
Everyone gets the same player. A new Journey turns up at midnight in London, and they're numbered, so a friend knows exactly which one you mean.
How to play
- The free ones
- The first few clubs cost nothing. Have a look.
- Peeling
- Every club after that costs points, and each one costs more than the last.
- Clues
- Position, honours and country are there if you want them. They're not free either.
- Guessing
- Five goes. A wrong one costs points and the next costs more.
- Spelling
- Don't worry about it. Surname's usually enough. Accents and the usual misspellings all count.
- The result
- A row of blocks that shows how you did without showing who it was. Send it.

Is it free?
Yes. Free on iOS and Android.
Do I need an account?
Not to start. Have a few goes first. After a few rounds it asks you to sign in, so your score and streak survive.
Can I guess the footballer from just his surname?
Yes. Surname on its own is usually enough, and you're not being marked on spelling.
Will sharing my result spoil it for anyone?
No. The result is a row of coloured blocks, not a name.
Is it like Wordle?
Same habit: one puzzle a day, the same for everyone, a result you can send without spoiling it. The puzzle's different. You're working out a footballer's career path from his clubs, not a word from its letters.
