- The first to cross either way. Eight prolific years as an Arsenal forward, then closed his career at Spurs.
- George Hunt Tottenham 1930-1937 (198 games, 138 goals) → Arsenal 1937-1938
- Seven years and well over a century of goals at Spurs, then one closing season at Highbury.
- Freddie Cox Tottenham → Arsenal 1949-1953 (£12,000 fee, 79 games, 9 goals)
- Went the other way for a fee, and closed his career as an Arsenal regular.
- Vic Groves Tottenham 1952-1953 (4 apps) → Arsenal 1955-1964 (185 apps, 31 goals)
- Barely featured at Spurs before nine years as an Arsenal regular.
- Laurie Brown Arsenal 1961-1964 → Tottenham 1964-1966
- Centre-half, crossed at the height of his career rather than at either end of it.
- Jimmy Robertson Tottenham 1964-1968 (181 apps, 31 goals) → Arsenal 1968 (59 apps, 8 goals)
- Part of a straight swap that sent David Jenkins the other way in the same deal.
- David Jenkins Arsenal 1963-1968 → Tottenham 1968-1972
- The other half of the Robertson swap, same day, same paperwork.
- Steve Walford Tottenham 1975-1977 → Arsenal 1977-1981
- Defender, part of the same mid-70s traffic across North London as Willie Young.
- Willie Young Tottenham (64 apps) → Arsenal, from 1977 (237 apps, 19 goals)
- Barely played at Spurs before becoming a genuine Arsenal fixture.
- Pat Jennings Tottenham 1964-1977 (450+ apps) → Arsenal 1977-1985 (200+ apps)
- The standout name on this list. A goalkeeping great at both ends, let go by Spurs at 32 and still going eight years later at Highbury.
- Sol Campbell Tottenham → Arsenal, 2001 (free transfer)
- The most notorious crossing here. Left Spurs as captain and won the title with Arsenal inside a year.
- William Gallas Arsenal → Tottenham (free transfer)
- Arsenal captain before going the other way, a rarer direction than most names on this list.
- Emmanuel Adebayor Arsenal 2006-2009 → Tottenham 2011
- Arsenal's main striker for three years, with spells at Manchester City and Real Madrid in between before Spurs.
- David Bentley Arsenal academy (no senior appearance) → Tottenham
- Came through the Arsenal academy without ever playing a first-team game there before his career took off, Spurs included, elsewhere.
- Rohan Ricketts Arsenal 2001-2002 (no senior appearance) → Tottenham (30 apps)
- Another Arsenal academy product who never played for the first team before featuring for Spurs.
